3A- Your Entrepreneurship Story
An experience I encountered with entrepreneurship was with my brother. My older brother Erol, is sixteen years older and when he was in his late twenties life was rock bottom for him. He was a night club bouncer and saw that he needed to do something else with his life. He cam up with the idea of doing in-home health care. He wrote out business plans and many sets to achieve this plan of his. He spoke to his friends dad that is a doctor and he helped pave the way for his success. Throughout this process he always ask how the logos and the marketing was and I would give my brutally honest opinion. This process didn't come overnight, it took about two maybe three years to final see some progress. He just said to stay positive and if it fails just learn from those failures and try something new. I enrolled in ENT3003 because I heard it was a class that makes you think out of the box and you get to create your own fate in the class. I found that to be the best thing because I am so used to tests and quizzes but this correlates to real life. I hope to get out a different way of thinking as an entrepreneur and you it in my day to day life.

Hi Janan! Your brother has a fantastic entrepreneurship story. Even better, you got to experience the inner workings of entrepreneurship secondhand when he asked your opinion of certain aspects of his business. I'm also sick of exams and quizzes with no real-life application. Your blog title wouldn't have anything to do with your description of your brother's rock bottom twenties, would it? I'm excited to see what you come up with in this class!
ReplyDeleteHello Janan! This story is remarkable. Even though this is our brother I am happy to say that through doubt and the discouragement people gave him he was able to do it. This is real life. School doesn't teach you how to become a problem solver over night many of the greatest entrepreneurs didn't even go to school. Thank you for taking your time and writing about our great brother.
